Developed and facilitated an academic writing and international journal publication workshop at the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers Institute for more than 20 professors and PhD students. The session strengthened participants’ understanding of international journal expectations, manuscript structure, academic argumentation, citation practices, peer review readiness, and responsible source use. Participants explored how to move from research ideas to publishable manuscripts while improving clarity, coherence, and global research communication.

Developed and facilitated the EWB Zoom Webinar, “From Objectives to Outcomes: A Whole-Student Teaching Approach,” for 18 university professors in Tajikistan in partnership with English Without Borders. The professional development session focused on helping educators move beyond isolated lesson objectives toward more holistic, student-centered outcomes that support engagement, growth, and meaningful learning. Participants explored practical strategies they could apply in their own classrooms to strengthen instruction and better address the academic and developmental needs of the whole student.

Developed and delivered a six-part online leadership webinar series, “Beyond Management: The Human Side of Organizational Leadership” in partnership with US State Department English Language Programs and American Councils C5+O.N.E., reaching 298, 294, 310, 281, 356, and 263 participants per session (~1,800+ total) across Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan; integrated organizational theory with practical application and facilitated cross-border networking and English-for-professional purposes.

Summary: Lead Conference Organizer and Strategic Coordinator in partnership with U.S. Embassy Tashkent (English Language Program) and Uzbekistan State University of World Languages. Led end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of a large-scale international academic conference attended by 250+ professors, university administrators, and government stakeholders from across Uzbekistan.
Oversaw conference governance and logistics, including program design, scheduling, materials development, catering coordination, and on-site operations. Coordinated and supported 18 English Language Fellows from Central Asia in delivering professional development workshops and academic sessions.
Managed an organizing committee and supervised a 50-member volunteer corps composed of student and faculty volunteers during live conference operations. Ensured full compliance with U.S. Embassy protocols and national institutional guidelines.
Integrated culturally responsive elements, including music and dance, to promote intercultural engagement and academic diplomacy. Served as the primary liaison among diplomatic partners, host-institution leadership, Fellows, volunteers, and service providers.
